Name Badges
Delegates and guests are requested to wear their name badge at all times in order to participate in sessions, exhibition and networking opportunities. Please ensure that you pick up your name badge at the registration desk.
Certificate of Attendance
International attendees can request a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ by completing the congress evaluation form. After completing the evaluation form you will be able to download your certificate of attendance. The deadline to request a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ is Monday, October 16, 2017.

*Registrants under the Students/Teachers/NGOs/Developing Nations category are required to submit a proof of status during registration. This can include an official letter on their Institution’s letterhead OR photocopy of their 2016/2017 Student/Employee ID from the institution where they are studying/working indicating proof of their status. File must be uploaded at the time of registration.
**Developing Nations are classified according to the World Bank and registrants under this category are required to submit a copy of their passport OR driver’s license. Please click here for the full list.
Letter of Invitation for Visa
An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the 9th World Environmental Education Congress will be issued ONLY after a completed registration form and full payment have been received along with proof of accommodation booked during the Congress dates.
Delegates from Low-Income Countries
The 9th World Environmental Education Congress encourages delegates from low-income countries to apply for a subsidy from their own institution or governing body.
If you are unable to apply for a subsidy, the Congress provides a limited number of funds for abstract presenters from low-income countries (classified according to the World Bank). To this end, please submit an abstract for the Congress and apply for a bursary from the Congress. The deadline for submitting bursary application is Friday, March 31st, 2017.
Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations received in writing at the the 9th World Environmental Education Congress Secretariat’s address before Monday, July 24, 2017 will be accepted and all fees refunded, less a CAD 75 administrative fee (as per Committee policy). Cancellations received on or after Monday, July 24, 2017 will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. This can be done by re-accessing your registration.
In the unlikely event that the Congress is cancelled, travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded.
